



This morning, the Federal Aviation Administration cleared the Boeing 737 Max for flight after nearly two years of grounding. We braved stormy skies and airsickness today in a tiny helicopter to photograph Boeing 737 Max airplanes at the Boeing factory Renton and at Boeing Field in Seattle.

I spent some time testing the drone in beautiful Issaquah, Washington today around dusk to make long exposure photos. I couldn’t believe that I was able to make a two-second exposure with the drone. It’s completely sharp! As the days get shorter, flying around dusk won’t be so bad, after all.
I recently returned to a set of photos from a couple of years ago that I made in rural Mongolia, a story about nomadic life, to publish here for the first time. Thanks for looking.
